IRS Services

Allows Client to "get on the right foot" with the IRS

If you owe back taxes or have not filed a return in the past, remember, the IRS doesn't forget and they don't go away. Most of us have heard the horror stories of those who have had encounters with the IRS. It is an agency that has a tremendous amount of power to enforce its regulations and because of the IRS' reputation, whether real or imagined, many people are afraid to even talk to the IRS. We at New Hope FFC understand that there are certain circumstances that might cause a person to delay filing their tax return and paying their taxes. It may be that an accountant figured everything wrong and an IRS audit showed that much more was due than they can pay. A person may have been self-employed and needed all their cash flow just to keep the family fed. Whatever the reason, New Hope designed the IRS Services program to assist non-filers, those with delinquent taxes and people with tax burdens that are just too enormous to pay.

We seek one of two objectives with the IRS for the client:

  • Hardship - Assistance for those who are unable to pay anything.
  • Installment Agreement- Negotiation of payments within the client's ability to pay

Two additional programs are available:

  • Offer In Compromise- Help in settling accounts and "getting back on the right foot" with the IRS.
  • Abatement of Penalties- A largely unknown program where the client has an excellent opportunity to have penalties abated when taxes have been cleared.

Client also receives all of the benefits of the New Hope Financial Planning System
